This harvest will be divided into pre and post rain periods. We picked 35 tons before the rain on September 28. The weather was beautiful and the fruit was gorgeous. Then the rain came and we don't anticipate picking agian until October 4. The good news is that the fruit is sound (no botrytis) and flavors have been developing nicely. These conditions are reminiscant of 1995, '96, 'and '97.
